Kaitlin Miller is an accomplished harpist from Greeley, Colorado. Starting the harp at the age of ten, she has been in love with this rare and stunning instrument since day one. Throughout her journey of being a musician, she has studied with three talented and experienced harpists: the late Dr. Kathy Moore from the University of Northern Colorado, Dr. Ann Marie Liss from the University of Denver, and Rachel Knight, M.A. from the University of Arizona.
Kaitlin has participated in the Western States Honor Orchestra and has played with the University of Northern Colorado’s Orchestra. She has been a guest artist with the Loveland Symphony Orchestra and has had the opportunity to play with several choirs. Some examples would include her performance of Benjamin Britten's "Ceremony of Carols" with the UNCo’s Women’s Glee Club and her performance of Howard Goodall's requiem, "Eternal Light", for one of UNCo's graduate student recitals.
With a wide-ranging repertoire, Kaitlin will create the perfect atmosphere for your event. Drawing on her experience playing for weddings, receptions, parties, and funerals, Kaitlin will add that unique finishing touch to your occasion.
"Kaitlin Miller played the harp at my wedding and she did a wonderful job. She put in long hours practicing my requested music and it definitely showed! Kaitlin arrived on time and very prepared for both the dress rehearsal and the wedding, and played beautifully and with ease on the big day. I would recommend Kaitlin for any classy event in which music is going to be played!"
"Kaitlin Miller is a fine musician and an absolute joy to work with! She plays with a level of artistry and professionalism that is well beyond her years. Our UNC Women's Glee Club thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with her in a recent performance of Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols."
